Session costs differ between our psychologists but range between $280 and $300 per session.
Letters on request are included in this fee. For example, you may need a letter confirming clinical symptoms/diagnoses for school, university or work, or a medical certificate for mental-health related absences.

No you don’t need a referral to see a psychologist, but you will be paying more out of pocket. Alternatively, you can get a referral and mental health care plan from your GP to have access to medicare rebates.

Yes - if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can claim medicare rebates on 10 sessions per calendar year. You will receive $149.05 back, per medicare session, with a Clinical Psychologist as of June 2026. Medicare rebates do not apply to cancelled / no show sessions.

Possibly. Most private health funds offer a rebate for psychology, but the amount will vary depending on your level of cover. Let us know before the session if you would like to use your health fund. We will send you an invoice tailored for that purpose.

Most of our clients are adolescents and adults. We do not see children under 12 years old.

Evidence suggests that weekly or fortnightly sessions yield good outcomes. We can space this out as you start to feel better. We will discuss a plan further at the end of our initial session.

At least 24 hours notice is required for cancellations, or the full fee of the session still stands. Please note, medicare does not rebate on cancelled appointments.

Yes, if you don’t feel like going to Wahroonga, join us on zoom from the comfort of your home.
