Caitlin Antoon
Director & Clinical Psychologist
Caitlin uses evidenced-based treatment plans, tailored to the individual’s needs.
She is most experienced in mood disorders (Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, Bipolar), Trauma (Complex or PTSD) and Neurodiversity (e.g. ADHD, ASD), as these are the presentations that have come up most frequently in the last few years at her Wahroonga Clinic.
Working at a weight clinic for six years, she also has specialised experience in the disordered eating and body image space.
She has had extensive experience with high risk patients with mood disorders at Cumberland Hospital and spent a number of years taking imminent suicide calls at Lifeline.
She uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Somatic Therapy. Most importantly though, she focuses on building connection and trust, which, in her opinion, is where all good therapy starts.
